Tomaso Minadois miei antichi hospiti. Et non si tosto m'hebbe raffigurato il Brancazio, che cominciò da lunga: Ah mancator di fede perché non te ne se tu andato dritto a smontar a casa, come nel passar a Salerno mi promettesti? Perché io voglio risposi andar questa sera ad Aversa, per poter giunger dimane a Sessa: in bona fe' risposero amendue. &lt;74v&gt; Il vostro ragionemento Sessa me ha sommamente contentato e parimente acceso in tanto che hora per prova conosco quello ch'un giorno su la caccia mi dicesti cioè che i piaceri e diletti de l'animo avanzan quelli del corpo: perciò che non mi ricordo haver mai sentito piacere che tanto m'empiesse l'animo, come &lt;75r&gt; hora avvenuto m'è, et spero goderne longamente con la memoria. Per tanto mi contento che ve n'andate a spasso se non volete cavalcar meco, ma con patto che ritorniate dimane a l'hora d'oggi a dechiararmi che cosa sia questa virtù morale, senza la quale non si può l'humana felicità guadagnare. </text>
