Niccolò Anglico is not mentioned in the Paduan ms., which is incomplete both at the beginning and at the end. Grion 1868 (who gave an edition of the text), did not know the Vatican ms. A comparison between the Vatican ms. and the Paduan one with regard to the incipit and explicit of book 2 (the only completely extant in the Paduan ms.) confirms the identity of the translation.
