The only extant reference to Fulvio Malatesti (or Malatesta, as recorded in Edit16) as 'academico urbinate' is to be found in his Italian translation of Muhammad al-Baghdadi's De superficierum divisionibus liber: Libro del modo di diuidere le superficie attribuito à  Machometo Bagdedino (Pesaro: Girolamo Concordia, 1560), based on the Latin edition of the text by John Dee.
