Libro primo della retorica

Title

Libro primo della retorica

Description

After a rather long introduction, the anonymous commentary - whose sections are misplaced in the ms. Venice, BNM, It. VIII.28 - proceeds explaining short Latin lemmas from Aristotle's Rhetoric, book 1, which might be useful in order to recognize the Latin version employed by the commentator (e.g. f. 25r: 'Nos autem quae demonstrantur...', f. 32r: 'Quam autem pauca sunt ea quae...'; f. 33r: 'Manifestum autem quod ex quibus'; f. 39r: 'Est aut [.] pars ad totum'; f. 43r: 'Enthymematum magna differentia'; f. 50r: 'Quam aut propositus est deliberandi'.
